Love your puppy and want to participate in a full day, completely dedicated to your pooch? The ByWard ‘Barket’ is returning for it’s 6th annual event on Saturday, September 19th!
This jam-packed day at the ByWard Market is going to be filled with all things dedicated to your furry best friend. From dog-specific apparel and healthy treats to bring home with you to tons of fun events at the market – it’s sure to be a fun day.
The event is going to have over 100 different merchants for you to shop and play with your pup. The 6th annual ByWard Barket can be easily found by looking for the yellow balloons that mark the dog-friendly boutiques.
The Lower Town Brewery patio will be open and is totally dog-friendly, so both you and your pup can treat yourselves. The King Eddy will also be serving up bacon treats just for your furry friend and Das Lokal will have “bark”-uterie boards and pup-sicles!
Not only that, but there will also be a dog-fashion show with a photographer, massages, and even a pet psychic! Can you believe it? You have to head down here and check out all these crazy events.
To enter into the costume contest, just register at 11am at the Tin House Courtyard (between Murray St. and Clarence St.) before the winners are announced at noon. There will be awesome prizes for the 1st, 2nd, and 3rd place puppers. Be sure to send us all your photos!
