1. Test your taste-buds limits at the Heating Up The Capital hot sauce expo
For all those spice lovers, this is seriously the event for you. Join in on Ottawa’s first ever Hot Sauce Expo and try tons of free tasting sessions to your mouth’s delight. There also will be competitions on who can handle the heat, so if you dare to, sign up to test your limits!

2. Get crazy at the famous Escapade Music Festival

3. Try apple picking at the Mountain Orchard Apple Farm
Starting this weekend, you can go apple picking on the stunning Mountain Orchard apple farm. There are corn mazes, wagon rides and plenty of other activities to try as well. It’s the perfect way to welcome fall and gather the best ingredients for a delicious pie!

5. Grab a drink along the Ottawa River at this floating cocktail bar

Before the exhibit closes on Sunday, be sure to check out the stunning Dutch painter, Rembrandt at the National Gallery of Canada. The exhibit, Rembrandt in Amsterdam: Creativity and Competition is truly a sight to behold so head down there if you can this weekend!
